Ensuring optimal conditions for a child’s early years is one of the best investments a government can make. Investing in children increases a nation’s capacity to compete and grow in a global economy. When the government fails to fulfil that essential duty, it becomes the dire responsibility of devoted and engaged citizens like those through Tolycare to take it on. We need your help to finish building the Tolycare School.
With a single soccer ball we can keep 22 young men on the field working toward the same goal. Soccer is the most popular sport in Haiti, it is affordable and contributes to healthy social and physical development. Our annual soccer tournament brings joy to the local community.
For generations, Haiti’s health system has been insufficient, most rural areas have no access to health care, making residents susceptible to otherwise treatable diseases. After the 2010 earthquake, then the cholera outbreak, and our most recent global pandemic, Haiti’s health system is failing to meet the basic needs of the population. Tolycare has partnered with Dr. Paul Perceval to assist those in need in the Port Margot community.
